This week, we have made our own Egyptian shabti figures out of clay. As part of our DT unit this term, Year Six have been designing their own pasta dishes and finished cooking them last week. The Year 6 parents were invited in today to help make a Christmas craft. Some fantastic snowy, Christmas-themed lanterns were produced. As preparation for our own cooking of a vegetarian pasta dish next week, Mr Harris took us through the steps of how to make a similar dish in the classroom. We have now used this information to write our own recipes and are ready to cook! In groups, we used untuned instruments to improvise 8 beat bars to play as part of our melodic improvisation for the 'Blues' unit of work. We will post videos from our final music lesson of this topic at the end of the term. Mr Harris' Code Club have produced several games this term - try out a few of them and sign up if you would like to come to the next Code Club after Christmas.
